RECRUITMENT

We will need to process the personal data of all potential employees from the moment you become a candidate for a position. This allows us to assess your suitability for the position and for our company. The types of processing are as follows:

Your personal data is processed for various reasons, including authentication of legitimate users, contacting you in case of an incident, training and testing on phishing awareness, setting up IT alerts, and restricting where corporate data can be stored. To further enhance security, we have implemented a secure corporate browser for Dentsu-managed devices and for Dentsu corporate applications on personal devices. This system monitors users' browsing activity to protect against malicious sites, threats, and malware, capturing and storing all browser-related traffic, including (but not limited to) sites visited, data transfers, IP addresses, and Dentsu email addresses. We also deploy tools that capture and process data about the reliability of Dentsu devices and systems and to identify issues requiring additional diagnostics, monitoring various technical parameters of end-user devices, with the aim of performing real-time device performance analysis. Please note: This system will not: monitor other browsers on your personal device (e.g., Chrome, Edge, Safari, etc.); The only data we will collect relates to interactions with corporate applications. These firefighters and any first responders will also have their information stored in company systems, including training received. International Data Transfer

Dentsu is a globally operating media group composed of several companies. Some of our group companies are located outside Brazil. To ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of your services and communication within the group, your personal data may be shared with other Dentsu entities located in other countries. In these cases, there will be an international data transfer.

We may also share your personal data with foreign vendors and store your personal data on servers located outside Brazil, including, but not limited to, third-party providers, cloud computing servers, external consultants, insurers, clients, and public authorities.

When transferring your personal data outside Brazil, we will ensure that there are adequate levels of security and will use one of the transfer mechanisms provided for in the LGPD.

How long do we keep your personal data?

We keep your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected.

If you are an employee or former employee of Dentsu, your personal data will be kept for the period of your employment contract or service contract plus the applicable legal and/or regulatory retention and/or limitation period after the end of the employment or contract period.

If you are a candidate, your personal data will be kept for the period during which you are participating in a selection process. If, following assessment, your application for the intended position is unsuccessful, we will keep your personal data in our talent pool for a period of six months so that we can contact you if other vacancies that may suit your profile subsequently arise.

If you do not wish to be part of our talent pool, you may request your exclusion through our contact channel indicated in this Privacy Statement for Dentsu Brasil Employees.

After the purposes for which your personal data was collected have ended, it will be deleted or anonymized so that you cannot be identified and it can no longer be associated with you.

Your Rights

Specifically in Brazil, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Confirmation: right to be informed about the existence of data processing.

Access: right to request access to your personal data, including a description and copy of your personal data and the reason we are processing such data, unless a legal exception applies.

Correction: right to request the alteration of data when it is incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated.

Restriction: right to object to or request anonymization, blocking, or deletion of unnecessary, excessive data, or data processed in non-compliance with personal data protection legislation.

Revocation of consent: right to revoke consent, when processing depends on your consent, at any time, through express manifestation, through a free and facilitated procedure. The revocation of your consent does not affect the legality of processing carried out until the moment of revocation or affect our right to continue with our collection, use, or disclosure of your personal data when such collection, use, or disclosure of personal data is permitted by applicable laws without consent.

Review: right to review decisions made solely based on automated processing of personal data that affect your interests, including decisions intended to define your personal, professional, consumption, and credit profile or aspects of your personality.

Petition: right to petition regarding your data against the controller before the National Data Protection Authority.

We will do our best to resolve any complaint. However, if you believe we have not resolved your complaint, you may complain to the National Data Protection Agency.

Confirmation of existence or access to personal data will be provided within fifteen days of your request. We will respond to other requests within the legally required timeframes and/or within the timeframes that will be informed to you at the time of your request, as applicable. If we need more time to respond, we will inform you in writing of the reason and the time required.

1. Data Peribadi yang Kami Mungkin Kumpulkan

3. Tempoh Kami Menyimpan Data Peribadi Anda

Kami akan menyimpan Data Peribadi anda selama yang diperlukan bagi perkhidmatan berkenaan, selaras dengan kewajipan undang-undang kami. Selepas tempoh tersebut, Data Peribadi anda akan dipadamkan dengan selamat atau dianonimkan supaya boleh digunakan untuk tujuan analitik. Anda boleh meminta maklumat lanjut mengenai tempoh penyimpanan kami melalui butiran hubungan yang diberikan dalam notis privasi ini atau meminta agar data anda dipadamkan selaras dengan hak anda seperti yang dinyatakan di bawah.

4. Bagaimana Kami Melindungi Data Peribadi Anda

Kami mengekalkan perlindungan organisasi dan teknologi yang bersesuaian untuk membantu mencegah penggunaan tanpa kebenaran, capaian tidak sah, kehilangan secara tidak sengaja, pengubahan atau pemusnahan Data Peribadi sama ada dalam bentuk fizikal atau elektronik. Kami juga memastikan penyedia perkhidmatan dan/atau pihak ketiga luar yang diluluskan yang menyimpan atau memproses Data Peribadi bagi pihak kami melakukan perkara yang sama. Perlindungan yang digunakan, bergantung pada keadaan, termasuk tembok api (firewalls), ujian pencerobohan (penetration testing), imbasan kerentanan, penyulitan dan capaian terhad kepada sistem IT kami.

5. Perkongsian dan Pendedahan Maklumat

Setiap kali kami berkongsi Data Peribadi, capaian adalah dikawal berdasarkan prinsip “perlu tahu” (need-to-know), dan hanya diberikan jika perlu untuk menyediakan perkhidmatan yang diminta atau bagi membolehkan kami melaksanakan fungsi yang perlu atau sah.

Kami hanya akan memindahkan Data Peribadi anda ke luar pasaran di mana anda berada sekiranya kami berpuas hati bahawa tahap perlindungan yang mencukupi telah disediakan untuk melindungi integriti dan keselamatan mana-mana Data Peribadi yang sedang diproses, serta mematuhi undang-undang privasi dan perlindungan data yang berkenaan. Maklumat yang dikongsi dengan penyedia perkhidmatan pihak ketiga kami
Kami menggunakan pihak ketiga untuk melaksanakan fungsi perniagaan bagi pihak kami, seperti menghantar surat berita, menghoskan perkhidmatan dalam talian dan pengurusan hubungan pelanggan. Kami hanya akan mendedahkan maklumat yang perlu bagi membolehkan pihak ketiga tersebut menjalankan perkhidmatan mereka. Penyedia perkhidmatan kami tertakluk kepada kontrak untuk mematuhi arahan kami.

Kami juga mungkin berkongsi maklumat dengan pihak ketiga yang membantu kami dalam usaha pemasaran, termasuk platform media sosial, rangkaian pengiklanan dan syarikat teknologi iklan. Pemindahan dalam kumpulan syarikat
Dentsu International ialah kumpulan media global yang terdiri daripada pelbagai syarikat. Oleh itu, dari semasa ke semasa kami mungkin mendedahkan Data Peribadi anda dalam kumpulan syarikat kami.

Apabila kami memindahkan Data Peribadi di antara syarikat kumpulan, pemindahan tersebut dilindungi melalui Perjanjian Pemindahan Data Intra-Kumpulan. Ini memberikan kami mekanisme untuk memindahkan Data Peribadi secara global apabila perlu.

6. Hak Anda

Bergantung kepada undang-undang privasi yang terpakai di pasaran anda, anda mungkin mempunyai beberapa hak berhubung Data Peribadi anda, termasuk:

• Membantah pemprosesan Data Peribadi anda. Jika kami bergantung pada kepentingan yang sah (atau pihak ketiga), dan anda merasakan ia menjejaskan hak serta kebebasan asas anda, anda boleh membantah. Anda juga mempunyai hak untuk membantah jika Data Peribadi digunakan bagi tujuan pemasaran langsung atau pemprofilan.

If you are a resident of México, in addition to the above, the provisions of this section will apply to you.  The entity responsible for the handling of your data will be 兔子先生.

In accordance with the Federal Law on Personal Data in Possession of Private Parties (“Data Law”), and the rights disclosed in section 6 “Your rights” you will have the right to access the data we hold and the details of their processing, as well as to rectify them if they are inaccurate or incomplete; cancel them under the terms of the Data Law or oppose the processing of these for specific purposes (ARCO Rights).

To exercise the ARCO Rights, you or your legal representative must make a free writing describing the reason and right you wish to exercise and send it scanned and signed to the Contacts set for in section 9, for attention and follow-up. it is important that you consider the following points when sending or delivering your request:

a) The request must indicate your full name, address and e-mail address in order to be able to communicate the response to your request.

b) Indicate the personal data with respect to which you are seeking to exercise any of the rights.

c) Attach any document or information that facilitates the location of your personal data.

d) Attach a copy of the official document that proves your identity.

e) If the request is processed through a legal representative, include the power of attorney stating the authority granted by you for this procedure, or a power of attorney with the signature of acceptance of the attorney-in-fact, in the presence of two witnesses, including the name, signature, address and a photocopy of the official identification of each of the signatories. In the case of rectification of data, attach the documentation that accredits such modification.

Under the assumptions established in article 34 of the Data Law, we may deny access to personal data, or to rectify or cancel it, or to grant opposition to its processing. Likewise, under the assumptions established in article 26 of the Data Law, we will not be obliged to cancel your personal data. We will respond to your request within a period not exceeding 20 days by the same means by which the request was made, by means of simple copies or electronically, as the case may be. 

In case the request is answered in an affirmative or appropriate manner, the requested changes will be made within a maximum period of 15 business days. In the event that access to your personal data is requested, we will inform you through the email in which we communicate our response to your request, the means by which access to your information will be provided if appropriate. We may extend the deadlines referred to in this paragraph, only once, for a period equal to the original, which will be informed to you.

To revoke your consent to the processing of your personal data, you must submit a request by sending an email to the contact info at section 9. The procedure described in the preceding paragraphs must be followed. 

 Not in all cases we will be able to respond to the request or conclude the processing of personal data immediately, since it is possible that due to some legal obligation we may need to continue processing the personal data.  To limit the use or disclosure of your personal data, you must request it through a duly signed request, submitted electronically to us, requesting the limitation of the use or disclosure. (b) The Rights of the Data Subject
Under Article 11 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law numbered 6698 ("PDPL"), you, as a data subject, have the right to:
- Learn whether your personal data has been processed,
- Request information if your personal data has been processed,

In case the application is made by the data subject directly, the application should contain their name, surname, Turkish ID number (passport number for foreigners), address (so that our response can be conveyed) and documents evidencing the identity.

We might share information with third parties who help us with our marketing efforts, including social media platforms, advertising networks, and ad tech companies. For example, we may share email addresses or other Contact Information with social media platforms so they can serve our advertising to you on their platform. Personal Data received by our partners may also be subject to their privacy policies.

Information shared with other parties as required by law or to prevent or investigate illegal activities

Where required or permitted by law, Personal Data may be provided to others, such as regulator and law enforcement agencies, for example in response to a court order or a subpoena, or in response to a law enforcement agency’s request, or where we believe it is necessary to investigate, prevent or take action regarding illegal activities or to protect us, our websites, customers, employees, and business partners from fraud or other malicious activity, and as otherwise required by law. We might share your Personal Data in order to enforce our agreements and to protect our rights and/or the rights of others. We might share your Personal Data when we are investigating potential fraud. This might include fraud we think has happened during a promotion. Where we have a legal requirement to do so, if you are the winner of a sweepstakes or contest, we may also share your certain Contact Information with anyone entitled to request a winner’s list.

We may use and share Personal Data as otherwise disclosed to you from time to time when collecting your Personal Data or as otherwise permitted by law.

Your Privacy Rights

U.S. state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”), as amended, provides residents of their respective states with additional rights with respect to their Personal Data.

Depending on where you live and what you are asking us to do, we may or may not be obligated to comply with your request, and/or the time required to complete a request may vary.  Based on how we collect and utilize your Personal Data, you may have the following rights:

• Right to Access – You have the right to request that we provide you with a copy of the specific pieces of Personal Data we collected about you.
• Right to Delete – You have the right to request that we delete your Personal Data that we maintain about you, subject to certain exceptions.
  • If you were known by another name or lived at another address, we may not be able to locate all information which relates to you if you do not include it in the form below. Please provide as much information as possible so that we can try to identify all records which relate to you.  We may keep certain Personal Data in accordance with our legal obligations and rights, such as keeping sufficient information about you to recognize that you have made a Personal Data request and to keep a record of that request.
  • However, if we lawfully receive your Personal Data after fulfilling your deletion request, that new information may be included in future data products unless/until you submit a new deletion request. However, if one of our clients separately has your Personal Data and they provide it to us, along with specific instructions on how we are to use it on their behalf, you may still receive their advertising. (We do not add our clients’ data to our own data products unless allowed to by our clients)
• Right to Opt-Out of Targeted Advertising – You have the right to request that we not include your data for any targeted advertising we conduct.
  • Your choices do NOT affect marketing that is not based on your Personal Data. For example, you may still receive advertising based on the content and predicted audience of the website you are browsing. This is known as “contextual advertising” and will not stop in response to your requests.
• Right to Correct – You have the right to request that we correct inaccurate Personal Data that we maintain about you, subject to certain exceptions.

We may deny certain requests, or fulfill a request only in part, based on our legal rights and obligations. Note that for purposes of these requests under this Privacy Notice, Personal Data does not include information we have collected as a service provider to our clients. Finally, please note that we are required by California Civil Code section 1798.105(d) to keep a record of your request.
